The Grand Seiko SBGR261 is made up of 13.1mm thick casing, made of premium stainless steel from the highest quality alloy blend. The stainless steel case is dust, corrosion, and scratch resistant, and has been polished expertly with a fine finish using the traditional Zaratsu technique.
The Grand Seiko SBGR261 uses premium, clear, box-shaped sapphire glass, cut to precisely fit the bezel of the stainless steel case. The box-shaped sapphire glass is sturdy and transparent while providing protection from scratching. The sapphire crystal has a value of 9 on the Mohs scale for mineral hardness. The box-shaped sapphire glass sits perfectly on the bezel and has been coated internally with an anti-reflective surface coating, preventing reflective light rays from causing glare in the watch.
The band is made with hand-sewn quality crocodile leather.
The watch also comes with a 187mm perimeter to fit any wrist, and it is secured neatly with a three-fold clasp and a push-button release.
